The Gunjan Saxena film is an upcoming Bollywood Hindi film. Biopic of the first female IAF pilot officer to fly in the war zone of Kargil war. The film is directed by Sharan Sharma and produced under Dharma Productions and Zee Studios. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role of Indian Air Force pilot Gunjan Saxena, and along with Srividya Rajan is the first woman and Indian woman pilot. Pankaj Tripathi is  Gunjan Saxena's father role and Angad Bedi as a brother role will be seen. The film was announced on 26th December 2018 as Janhvi Kapoor shared the first look. Principal photography began on 20th February 2019 and wrapped in October; It was extensively filmed in Lucknow. The film is scheduled to be released on 24th April 2020.
